Alan Cadiz

Alan Cadiz, an accomplished World Cup Pro, founded Maui’s premier windsurfing school in 1985, filling the need for performance lessons on the Valley Isle. Using his knowledge and expertise, Alan continues to bring windsurfing, wing foiling,  kitesurfing and stand up paddling instruction to the highest level.

Alan Cadiz started wing foiling at the inception of the sport here on Maui. With a lifetime of surfing,  windsurfing, and kitesurfing experience, wing foiling was second nature. Alan Cadiz and HST set the standard for professional wing instruction. With 35 years experience teaching windsurfing, coupled with 10 years of teaching kitesurfing, Alan has applied that same clear teaching style to wing foiling.

If he is not wing foiling… Alan enjoys deep sea fishing in Maui’s beautiful waters. He is also an avid big wave surfer, tow-in surfer, paddle boarder and a great dad to his two daughters, Cady and Cloe.
